It's been almost two weeks since the project has been in the hands of the first round beta readers.
It's a tough position for me because all I want to do is call them up
Every Single Day and ask 'what part are you at?', 'what do you think?',
'do you love it or hate it?'
GAH! It's weird, to say the least.
On Wednesday night, I walked into the cafe for my regular #WednesdayNightWriteNight and sitting right there all sneaky and pretty sat one of my readers.
"I'm
scribbling all over your book," she said. "Not bad things...good
things...and things like 'if you don't make X happen I'm going to be so
mad...'"
(Here's hoping I did make X happen...she didn't actually say what she meant specifically - YIKES! But that's what beta's are for, right?!)
The very next day I received this text:

Yup! *sigh*
So it's not all garbage.
Because, you know...I worry...
