As he slowly peals back the layers of a haunted past, he finds himself lost in the shadow of his mother's unorthodox religion and desperate to uncover the truth.

Bird Mitena lives in the shadows, her wings clipped,  her prospects dim. The sins of an uninvolved father haunt her while she tries to maintain a thread of normalcy with a mother possessed by her own violent past.  Black Bird is the heart-wrenching story of determination, hope, and redemption.

Sharing tales from my journey as 'a mediocre worship leader' with an easy sense of humor. Including actual correspondence with band members and advice for surviving 'the haters', I approach the topic with a light spirit, having fun at my own expense and offering what wisdom I have gleaned  - not in an attempt to teach but to merely give a glimpse of the truth behind the Sunday morning microphone.
