Why a soundtrack?
Because it chooses me! Without fail, no matter the project I'm working on, music seems to weave its way through the experience of both writing and editing. Whether I hear it on the radio, or in listening to a record I've had for years, bits of my story spill out from the music, whether in lyric or in the emotion of the melody. It could just be the passion I have for music... so it's inevitable that I hear my own narrative within the songs I listen to; OR it could be the universe reminding me that I'm following my heart and that, in so doing, it's compelled to bless me with these little moments of discovery.
